working principle of drum filter

 
The drum filter(starch drying machine) adopts the principle of constant pressure cake layer bridging filtration. When it works,the drum is driven by the speed regulating motor to rotate in the pulp tank, and the wet starch is adsorbed on the filter cloth of the drum. When it reaches a certain thickness, it is scraped off by a fixed scraper, and the filtrate enters the steam water separator, so as to achieve the purpose of starch, water and gas separation. It is suitable for the material with small particle size, not easy to precipitate . The thickness of the filter material can be more than 3mm. It can continuously carry out suction filtration and dehydration under the effect of vacuum. The equipment can effectively improve the purity of starch, the dehydrated starch is easy to dry and ensure the quality of starch products.
 
 
Application

Vacuum dehydrator is widely used in the solid-liquid dehydration and separation of starch, medicine, food, chemical industry and
other industries. The equipment is made of high-quality stainless steel, and the rotating drum speed can be adjusted by frequency
conversion. The cleaning of the drum adopts the intermittent type automatic washing. The filter tank is equipped with paddle type
agitator to prevent starch deposition. And equipped with continuous regulating liquid level control. The dehydrator adopts scraper
for discharging and pneumatic adjustment. The blade of scraper is made of high hardness alloy.
